21^st Century Dance Academy has been training students from 3 years old to

18 years old since 2002. Although we have enabled over 16 students to move into the professional vocational training of dance and the performing arts we are equally as proud of our university students who have gone on to become highly disciplined, confident and successful young adults.

21^st Century Dance Academy is very special place. We are small, focused

and professional. As the principal, I am also profoundly aware that I owe it to or students to help them become the very best individuals that they can be, in which ever direction their future may take them.  

Our students have the opportunity to learn to apply their highly skilled dancing, singing and acting skills in a variety of opportunities. They are able to gain examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Scottish Qualifications Association. 

We have regular performance opportunities for all our students which is age dependant i.e. Scotty n Lulu musical theatre performances in Edinburgh & Stirling, Royal Albert Hall & Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, Disney Land Paris & Poland. 21^st Century

 Dance Academy’s show is held once every 2 years where every student has the opportunity to shine.

We believe that dance is not just a class room activity but we aim to bring dance to the stage and to Life. 

I am proud of our small school which has big dreams and aspirations for all its students. We believe that the creative impulse, properly nurtured, can produce great artists as well as great thinkers.

We also believe that a person, whose creative instincts are not fed, can never be fully happy. Our job is to develop the soul, as well as the intellect of our students.

In so many ways our students excel because of the quality of our teaching, dedication of our students and commitment of our parents. At the same time we aim to see an area where support is needed to fulfill a student’s dreams and strive to turn their dreams into reality.
